Winner of 3 IHSA State Track Championships and 14 “Coach Of The Year” Awards

Congrats to the best sprint coach I know, Chris Korfist.  Elmhurst York was only good at running slow before Chris took over the sprint program.  Back in the day, York would have never dreamed of their sprint relays running 41.48 & 1:26.61 in the state finals.  Those kind of sprinters are not low-hanging fruit in Elmhurst, Illinois.  Give credit where credit is due.  Hail to the 3A State Champions, Elmhurst York.  #SpeedKills

MATT PERAMAKI

Chris, my daughter ended up running a 12.44 and had the fastest 100m time in the UP State Finals for all classes. Thanks for your help and willingness to share what you have learned. It has made a very positive and significant contribution to my daughters high school career and future. Can’t thank you enough.
